As part of the EUR 55M contract, Ferrovial Agroman will build two parallel tunnels, both 1km in length and 14m in diameter, to divert water from the Cauca River. The company will also build a powerhouse access tunnel measuring almost 1km in length, with a 140m long gallery.
Th tunnelling contract represents Ferrovial’s first foray into Colombia’s Antioquia Department. Construction is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2013.
