Unit no 2 has an installed capacity of more than 3MW. Assembly work on unit no 1 continues and this 20.5MW unit will be placed in operation in the next few months.
First unit in service at Enel Green Power’s Bardonechhia plant
Unit no. 2 at Enel Green Power’s hydroelectric plant in Bardonecchia, Turin, Italy, is now in service, generating electricity and ensuring necessary water flow in the Rochemolles reservoir for drinking uses as part of an agreement between Enel, Società Metropolitana Acque Torino (SMAT), the Region of Piedmont and Area Authority No. 3 Turin.
