The deadline for Bids is 17 January 2008. Funding is from the Asian Development Bank. The work includes construction of coffer dams, curtain grouting of foundations, reinforced
concrete salinity barrier, river protection works, and electro-mechanical works such as gates, hoisting mechanisms, flood warning systems etc, including O&M and training. A process of international competitive bidding will be conducted.
