Germany and France are to provide a grant worth US$7M to Mozambique to fund a feasibility study that will look at the economic potential of the Zambezi valley between the Cahora Bassa hydroelectric power plant and the city of Tete, Mozambiquefile reports.
The key aim of the study is to determine whether a hydroelectric plant could be built at M’Panda Ncua on the Zambezi river, 70km downstream from the Cahora Bassa plant.
