The new Invergordon Service Center will complement the already existing Gilkes service centres in Kendal, England and Fort William, Scotland. Services Offered at the new centre include: annual preventative maintenance inspection (mechanical & electrical); service contracts; breakdown response and emergency call out; upgrade and modernisation of existing hydro schemes; and insurance inspections.
At Gilkes Hydro Canada, Wager will commence his employment on 22 October 2012 and will work from the existing office in Vancouver, BC.
Gilkes first hydro installation in Canada dates back to 1895 and the company has gone on to export nearly 200 turbines into North America with approximately one third of these being installed into the province of British Colombia.
