Green Highland, a Voith Company, has taken a long-term lease on an industrial facility near Dingwall in the Highlands of Scotland. The move is part of an expansion that includes new technicians, health and safety leads, and apprentices joining the team.
The facility will serve as a maintenance and service centre for the hydropower industry across the UK. Green Highland will continue operating from its Perth base, which hosts remote monitoring and data collection technologies for sites in the UK and internationally.
The new site will also include a training facility. It is expected to be one of the first dedicated commercial hydropower training centres in Scotland. Trainees will develop skills alongside experienced team members, and Voith staff with international experience will support the training.
Green Highland said the expansion reflects growing demand for its operations and maintenance services.
