According to news reports from the Vietnamese News Agency (VNA), the potential 200MW project would be located on the Sere Kong, Sere Pok or Sesan rivers and would take some 10 years to reach completion.
Hydro plant on cards for Cambodia
Vietnam and Cambodia are reportedly considering the idea of working together to develop a US$400M hydro power project in the Cambodian provinces of Stung Treng or Ratanakiri.
