US engineering and construction firm McMillen has appointed Kenwarjit “Kenny” Dosanjh as vice president and dams market lead.

Dosanjh has more than 20 years’ experience working on dams, levees and water infrastructure across North America. His work has included design, inspections, risk assessments and rehabilitation projects involving dams, spillways and hydropower facilities.

Dosanjh is a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission-approved independent consultant. He has inspected more than 1,000 hydraulic structures and completed more than 3,000 hours of technical climbing inspections during his career.

In his new role, Dosanjh will oversee market development, client engagement and the expansion of McMillen’s dams services.

“Kenny’s technical and leadership capabilities will help us build on our strong foundation, paving the way for future success. I’m excited to work with Kenny to advance our contributions to the dams and water resources industry,” said Marissa Emmons, McMillen’s senior vice president of business development.

Dosanjh said: “I was impressed by the caliber of the people I met, and the technical excellence demonstrated across the company.”

Boise-based McMillen provides engineering, environmental and construction services for dam, energy, fisheries and water resources projects.
