A new Nepal Hydropower Dashboard tool is now available on ToolsForEngineers.com, providing an online platform for viewing hydropower project data sourced from the Department of Electricity Development (DoED), Nepal.

The dashboard displays project information using filters for administrative region, project stage and capacity ranges. Users can filter hydropower projects by status categories such as survey license, construction license and operational, as well as by installed capacity bands from under 1 MW to over 1,000 MW.

Additional features allow users to export project boundaries in GeoJSON and KML formats and download filtered project lists in CSV format. The tool includes sortable columns for project name, capacity, stage and location details.

According to social media posts by developers, the dashboard integrates project location data in an interactive map and is designed to support planners, engineers and researchers with quick identification and classification of hydropower assets across Nepal. The interface is web-based and does not require local software installation.

All project data displayed is based on official records published by Nepal’s Department of Electricity Development.
