Under a contract awarded by the Kodiak Electric Association (Kodiak), NAES Power Contractors will provide the labor and supervision for the installation of a third turbine and necessary ancillary equipment in the existing powerhouse.
The addition of the third turbine will increase total power plant capacity of the powerhouse to 31MW and is scheduled to be placed in service by October 2013.
