voith-siemens Hydro Power Generation, the joint venture of Voith and Siemens, was approved by the anti-trust auth-orities on 3 April 2000. Voith holds 65% and Siemens holds 35% of shares in the new company; the combined assets of which will employ 2100 employees at 19 manufacturing and engineering locations worldwide. Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation will be managed by Dr Hans Peter Schiffer, Karl Heinz Febel, Horst Kübel and Michael Olschewski.
