Chinese plant to receive GE equipment

Sichuan Huaneng Fuliang Hydroelectric, a subsidiary of China Huaneng Group, owns the US$5.4M plant. It is the third unit of a four-cascade hydro complex, located in Pingwu County on the Fujiang river, a tributary of the Yangtze river, and will generate 100MW. GE will also supply spare parts accessories, technical service and installation supervision.

The plant is due to enter commercial service in October 2006.
