The company plans to install two 27MW Pelton turbines and generators at Rizzanese. In its calls for tenders, EDF is also looking for the supply and installation associated hydraulic and control equipment.
The contract period at Rizzanese will run from the beginning of next year until the end of 2011, the utility added. Deadline for expressions of interest is 17 May.
The company is also seeking manufacturers to supply and install three 46MW turbines-generation sets for its plant at Gavet, near Grenoble.
