Four feared dead in Cambodia dam accident

The incident occurred on 1 December. Four people were missing and presumed drowned. Several other workers were injured and suffering from broken bones. Construction activity at the dam site on the Atay river in Pursat province had been halted.

Work on the 120MW project began in 2008 and is scheduled to be completed by May 2013. China's state-owned Datang Corporation is developing the US$255M scheme.
