OPEN TO PUBLIC and private institutions, and companies from all over the world, the Energy Globe Award 2002 will be presented for the third time in the framework of an international TV gala early in March 2002.
The Energy Globe Award honours outstanding initiatives in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. More than 1000 entries from 75 countries competed in five categories for the award in 2001.
The winning projects next year will also be presented at the World Sustainable Energy Day 2002 and during the Energiesparmesse, one of Europe's largest sustainable energy exhibitions, which will take place from 7-10 March 2002 in Wels, Austria.
