Hydro workers among victims of plane crash

Austrian engineering group Andritz has confirmed to Reuters that three of its employees who worked on a hydropower plant in Pakistan were among the 47 people killed in a plane crash in the country yesterday.

The victims were two Austrians and one Chinese. In a statement Andritz said it would offer any support the victims family needed.

None of the passengers on the plane –  aPakistan International Airlines flight heading for Islamabad – survived the crash.
