The International Hydropower Association has announced the launch of a new online hub that showcases the latest hydropower innovations from around the world.

The Renewable Energy Innovations Hub has launched for the 2021 World Hydropower Congress and features a number of new innovations including in in China, where robots using artificial intelligence are being deployed to monitor hydropower plant efficiency and decrease maintenance costs. In Europe, hydropower battery hybrids are being developed to improve grid services, while in North America a ‘hyperloop for fish’ has been designed to safely transport fish over dams.

There is also an opportunity for you to submit your innovations to the hub.
