The USCOLD Committee on Public Awareness has announced the completion of a video called ‘Water and Dams in Today’s World’. The 15-minute video is intended to provide a balanced view of the need for water and how dams are utilised to effectively manage the limited supply of fresh resources. The committee is urging members of the industry to show the video to schools and agencies to educate and create greater public awareness about water and dams.
