Seamor Marine Ltd, manufacturer of subsea observation and inspection-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), is to receive an investment of up to $100,000 from the Women Entrepreneurship Fund offered by the Government of Canada.

One of only a few companies in Canada that develop ROVs, Seamor Marine has quickly grown over the past decade to offer a line of in- house designed and assembled observation-class ROVs as well as a wide range of accessories and integrations.

“Our team is proud as a Canadian company to promote our unique underwater ROVs in a global market and continue to grow as an innovative leader in our industry. This funding will help boost the marketing process for Seamor: when potential customers are more easily able to find us and see our products, we know that we will win them over with our attention to quality, competitive pricing and attentive customer service." said Ms Inja Ma, Owner and CEO of Seamor.

The Federal Government is dedicating $20 million directly to women entrepreneurs through the Women Entrepreneurship Fund, part of the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy, which will provide support to grow their businesses and facilitate their pursuit of opportunities in markets abroad.
