Site C balance of plant electrical contract awarded

BC Hydro has awarded the $128 million Site C balance of plant contract for electrical work to F&M Installations Ltd.

The Nanaimo-based company will be responsible for all remaining electrical work required to complete the construction of the generating station and spillways, along with other related facilities at Site C.

The contractor – who has worked on previous projects for BC Hydro - will mobilize on site this fall and work is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
