Norconsult is to provide in-house consulting work to the Ministry of Electric Power in Myanmar, assisting with the development of a feasibility study for a 100-150MW hydro plant in the country.
The two year project is being carried out in association with Multiconsult.
Norconsult has been assisting the Ministry under different contracts financed by the Norwegian government for over a year, and was previously involved in several electricity projects in the country during the 1980s and 90s.
