The contract, which will involve the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of the hydro-mechanical work at the two projects, will be executed over the next three years.
The Teesta Low Dam work is valued at RS99M (US$2.4M), while work on the Uri-II project is worth Rs59M (US$1.4M). Teesta Low Dam is located in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, with Uri-II located in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir.
