Sunbird Power Academy has unveiled its Hydropower O&M Essentials Training Program, a flexible, self-paced online learning experience designed to help hydropower professionals strengthen their operations and maintenance skills – and they’re celebrating the launch with an exclusive reader giveaway.
Five lucky readers will each receive a free full-access pass (valued at $500 CAD) to the Hydropower O&M Essentials Training Program. Each pass includes 90 days of access to all course modules. The Hydropower O&M Essentials curriculum covers key topics including:
- Maintenance Strategy: Transitioning from reactive to predictive maintenance
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Compliance, safety culture, and environmental stewardship
- Financial Planning & Budgeting: CAPEX/OPEX planning, business cases, and annual operating plans
- Information Management: Data analytics, asset knowledge, and operational readiness
The program is designed for operators, engineers, maintainers, and managers looking to modernize their skills, improve reliability, and enhance safety across hydropower assets.
Participants can start for free with the Introduction to Hydropower module — available to everyone as part of Sunbird’s commitment to giving back to the hydropower community and supporting the next generation of operators, maintainers, engineers, and asset managers.
