According to reports from the Daily Times in Pakistan, TNB Remaco will provide technical personnel and skilled expertise to perform daily operations as well as routine maintenance of the complex. The services would be provided for an initial period of five years with an option of extending it a further seven years.

TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn Bhd (TNB Remaco), a subsidiary of Malaysia’s Tenaga Nasional Bhd, has signed a deal with Laraib Energy to provide services worth $14.1M for the operation and maintenance of the 84MW New Bong Escape hydroelectric complex, currently being built on the Jhelum River in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, just over 7km downstream of the existing Mangla Dam in Pakistan.
