According to the Interfax news agency, hydroelectricity accounted for 6.7% of Ukrainian electricity production last year, as compared with 6.5% in 2004. Ukrainian power plants generated a total of 185.2BkWh of electricity last year.
Ukraine reports higher hydro output
Ukraine’s Fuel and Energy Ministry reports that hydroelectric power production in Ukraine in 2005 was 5% higher than the previous year.
