According to the Vietnamese News Agency, the plant, which will have a capacity of 465MW, will be subject to investment worth around US$550M. Its construction will start in the second quarter of next year.
Xemakhan 1 agreement signed
The Lao government and the Lao-Viet Electrics Investment and Development Company have signed a memorandum for the construction of the Xemakhan 1 hydroelectric power plant in Laos.
