Electricity sales begin at East Toba River and Montrose Creek

Plutonic Power Corporation and GE Energy Financial Services, a unit of GE, has announced that its Toba Montrose General Partnership (TMGP) has begun selling electricity from the East Toba River and Montrose Creek generation facilities to BC Hydro under an Electricity Purchase Agreement (EPA).

First group of successful projects announced in BC Hydro’s Clean Power Call

Canadian utility BC Hydro has selected the first group of 19 projects to be awarded electricity purchase agreements (EPA) under its Clean Power Call. Combined, the projects will generate more than 2400GWh of electricity annually and include several hydroelectric projects.

Run-of-river BC project over 80% complete

GE Energy Financial Services, a unit of GE, and Plutonic Power Corporation have announced that the 196MW East Toba River and Montrose Creek hydroelectric project is more than 80% complete.
