Employees from Norwegian firm Statkraft have recently been trained on the Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Protocol in sessions organised by the International Hydropower Association (IHA).

A Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Protocol (HSAP) assessment of Landsvirkjun’s Hvammur Hydropower Project in Iceland has been carried out by a team led by Dr Bernt Rydgren of Åf Infrastructure, Sweden, the International Hydropower Association has announced.

EDF confirms commitment to HSAP, as IHA raises awareness at World Water Forum

Électricité de France (EdF) has today confirmed its commitment to using and integrating the Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Protocol in pursuit of sustainability among its hydropower plants and projects. The news follows the International Hydropower Association’s (IHA) integral involvement in raising awareness of hydropower sustainability at the 6th World Water Forum in Marseille, 12-17 March 2012.
