Infrastructure investment specialist B Capital Partners AG has taken a 36% stake in Bekk og Strøm (BoS) which owns and operates 22 small scale hydropower plants in Norway with a total production of 155 GWh as well as a development portfolio.

The investment was made through B Capital’s Luxemburg BC-ETIF TOR fund, which invests exclusively in sustainable infrastructure in the energy transition sector.

enso hydro GmbH – an investment company owned by Austrian investors and the German hydropower-investment fund DWS Access Wasserkraft Beta KG – remains the majority shareholder of BoS. The longstanding minority shareholderof the project has decided to leave the energy sector for internal reasons.
