ADF Group has secured contracts to fabricate steel structures for hydropower projects across Canada as part of a package of new orders worth C$82m.

The largest contract in the package covers the fabrication of various steel structures for a hydropower project in Western Canada. Work is scheduled to begin in March 2027 and run for nine months under a fast-track programme. ADF did not identify the project or disclose the individual contract value.

ADF Group has also secured hydropower contracts in Quebec, Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. These cover the fabrication and delivery of mechanically welded steel structures, with most scheduled to begin in December 2026 and extend over the following 18 months.

The C$82m total also includes a contract in the recreational sector on the US West Coast. ADF did not provide a separate total for the hydropower orders.

The new projects will involve ADF’s fabrication plants in Terrebonne, Quebec, and Great Falls, Montana, alongside Groupe LAR’s plant in Métabetchouan–Lac-à-la-Croix, Quebec.

Excluding the newly announced contracts, ADF’s order backlog stood at a record C$693.7m at 31 July 2026.
