Gilbert Gilkes & Gordon Ltd has opportunities available for a Lead Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineer to join its well-established engineering organisation, based in the head office in Kendal, Cumbria.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Hydro Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the management of the electrical engineering team including acting as the company’s Senior Authorised Person, design/specification of hydro electrical equipment, on site commissioning and technical support of operational schemes.
Also reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design/specification and review of Hydro Electrical equipment, commissioning hydro equipment, undertaking inspection work, and for providing electrical support to the Hydro Engineering department.
