As part of the contract, Korea Hydro will install 132KV transmission lines to link the proposed Chameliya hydro power project with the national grid. The project, valued at US$99.9M, is scheduled for completion before 2012.
Korea Hydro to build 30MW plant in Nepal
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has awarded a US$47.5M contract to Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power (Korea Hydro) for the construction of a 30MW hydro power project in Darchula district of western Nepal.
