The provincial government of Alberta is funding a C$5 million feasibility study for a new dam to be constructed in Southern Alberta, Canada.

The proposed location of the Eyemore Dam, 43km downstream of the existing Bassano Dam on the Bow River, is expected to improve the security of water supply to farmers served by the Bow River Irrigation District, as well as provide flood mitigation and water based recreation.

Although the construction of the dam has been discussed since the 1960s, the need for the dam has become more urgent during the last few decades due to the recurring droughts and the 2013 flood event that affected a large part of southern Alberta.
