JSC RusHydro has signed a deal with PowerChina that could lead to the development of new small hydro facilities in Russia.
During a recent visit of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to Shanghai, RusHydro agreed to form a working group with PowerChina to formulate more detailed plans for proposed small hydro plants.
Under the agreement, PowerChina could get a number of EPC contracts to develop specific projects.
